Oral Cancer Screening

It is our goal to stay up to date on the latest advances with dental medicine. We are constantly looking for new and better ways to diagnose and treat our patients.

One way we do this is by using the VELscope to perform oral cancer screenings. It is a wireless scope that helps our dentists see abnormal tissue. It uses natural tissue fluorescence to identify abnormalities in oral tissue that we can’t see normally.

If we can catch cancerous or even precancerous cells early, treating them will be easier. Early detection also allows us to give you the best chance at complete remission.

It is our goal to keep your mouth as healthy as possible. We do a thorough examination every time to ensure you don't have any problems. If you do, we address them as quickly as possible so that they are easier to treat.
